We are often asked: Why pink and green? What’s with the colors? Why can I still see the plugin when I close my eyes? We wanted to stand out. If you want to give your optic nerve a break: in the Pro version you automatically get a calmer color scheme in dark blue and gold. Many users have fallen in love with the neon colors. Therefore there is a color scheme toggle in the Pro settings.

Yes, all neoPlugins support multiple languages, including English and German. If a language is not yet available, the English version is shown automatically.

After purchase you receive two emails with your invoice, the download link and your personal license key. If the emails don't appear in your inbox, check the spam folder. Alternatively, you can find all information in your account. You can then easily install the plugin in your WordPress dashboard as a ZIP file via “Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin” and enter the license key. You can delete the free neoPlugins afterward, they are no longer needed. Existing settings and content are of course preserved when switching from Free to Pro.

There are licenses for 1, 5 or 25 websites. Each production website occupies one slot within the license - also within a WordPress multisite installation. Development, testing, staging or local environments are free and do not require their own license, provided they are assigned to a licensed production site. Discounted license bundles for 5 or 25 websites can be selected directly via the pricing table or at checkout. If you need more than 25 licenses, contact us by email.

Yes! A domain change is possible without any problems. You can deactivate the license on the old domain and then reactivate it on the new domain. The assignment of licenses to domains can alternatively be viewed and adjusted at any time in the account. When you purchased the license, the access data was sent to you by e-mail from neo-wp.com. If you have any questions or problems, we're happy to help.

Yes, of course! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. To do this, log in to your account with the access data you received by e-mail from neo-wp.com when you purchased the license. When upgrading you only pay a pro-rated amount - previous payments are credited as a discount. When downgrading the subscription period will be extended accordingly.

If you already have any neoPlugin installed in the free version, you can enter your license key on the settings page of neo WP in the WordPress backend. The Pro version will then be installed automatically and your license activated.

To make installation on multiple WordPress instances easier, you can also download the ZIP file of your Pro plugin directly here. Before downloading, enter your license key so that it is integrated directly into the plugin.
When installing this ZIP file no re-entry of the license key is necessary, as it will be read and activated automatically from the ZIP file.

Yes. One license covers both your live and development, staging, test and localhost environments such as dev.example.com. Addresses with endings or subdomains like dev, test, local, staging or example do not count against the license quota. Common hosting domains like *.cloudwaysapps.com, *.wpengine.com or *.instawp.co are also automatically recognized. A complete list of all recognized development domains can be found in the overview.

Downloading the Pro plugins requires a valid license. If you already purchased a license key, you can download the Pro ZIP file here. If you use Safari, your Mac may automatically unzip the ZIP file. Instead of the ZIP file you then receive only the unzipped folder. You cannot upload this folder directly to WordPress.

Solution: Open the Safari preferences and disable the option "Open safe files after downloading". After that the ZIP file will remain as you need it.

Drawings created with neo Draw can be downloaded like regular images as SVG or PNG files and uploaded to another WordPress instance. For SVG upload to work, it must be enabled manually or you must use the neo Library for the upload. The drawings can be still edited with neo Draw after upload because the drawing data is embedded in both the SVG and PNG formats.

Yes, drawings created with neo Draw can be downloaded as PNG files via the neo Library. All drawing data is embedded as metadata directly into the PNG file. Even in the pixel-based format, the original SVG can be fully restored — including all editable drawing elements. If such a PNG file is later re-uploaded via the neo Library, it is automatically converted back into an SVG file editable with neo Draw.

Drawings created with neo Draw are stored in the WordPress media library as vector graphics in SVG format — just like regular images. On the file system, these SVG files reside alongside the other images of the WordPress media library. That way, all drawings created with neo Draw can still be used after plugin uninstallation.

All editor drawing data, including embedded images and animations from neo Animate & neo Motion, is stored directly in the SVG file. This keeps the drawing fully editable even after downloading and re-uploading — for example to another WordPress instance. In the frontend, SVG files are treated like ordinary images.

For maximum performance, the plugin neo Optimize removes the editor data from SVG files when serving them and converts embedded raster images to the efficient WebP format.

If you no longer use a Pro license, your existing drawings and animations remain fully intact and continue to work in the frontend.

The Pro features within the drawings (e.g. advanced animation settings) cannot be edited without a license. Viewing and exporting is still possible, since your drawings are stored as regular SVG files.

If you later switch back to neoPro, all Pro features become available again immediately without restrictions.
