I'm generally cautious with renaming plugins because they've often broken references and PHP arrays in my database. That's why I put neo Rename through its paces on a test instance. What can I say? I couldn't break neo Rename. Whether in post content, in an ACF field or in my own JS code - the plugin simply detects any image reference hidden somewhere in the database. I especially like that the plugin shows me where the image is used before renaming. That gives me extra security.
